Battle of the Badges 2026

Battle of the Badges: Help Support Beech Grove Officers Hurt or Killed in the Line of Duty

Join us for Battle of the Badges — a high-energy, community-driven event raising funds for Beech Grove Police Officers and their families who have been hurt or killed in the line of duty. We’re coming together to show support, gratitude, and a little friendly rivalry among public safety teams — all while raising crucial financial assistance for those who need it most.

Why it matters

  • Line-of-duty injuries and deaths create sudden emotional and financial hardship for officers’ families.

  • Funds raised go directly to immediate needs: medical bills, funeral expenses, living costs, and long-term support for dependents.

  • Every dollar helps keep families stable while their loved ones recover or while they face the unimaginable.

What to expect

  • Police vs. Fire/ EMS showdown

  • Ceremonies honoring fallen and injured officers, and opportunities to meet the officers and first responders in our community.

  • On-site donation , touch a truck, and chances to sponsor teams or future matches.

How you can help

  • Attend the event to donate at the door

  • Sponsor a game, a team, or a specific officer/family.

  • Volunteer to help run activities or share the event with friends and neighbors.

Battle of the Badges is all about good-natured rivalry with a powerful purpose. Come cheer, watch local first responders compete, and donate for a great cause — together we’ll make sure Beech Grove officers and their families are cared for when they need it most.
